2019-2020 Projects
COVID-19 Relief
Since the start of 2020, many local medical facilities have run short of facial coverings and other necessities. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club has sewn and donated more than 400 masks and 300 homemade face shields to the San Mateo Medical Center and Sunol Memory Clinic and fundraised for medical centers. The club also donated bulk amounts of coloring books, crayons, and hand sanitizers to help with patient care and disease prevention.

Clemency For Venezuela
For this project, the San Ramon Valley Community Interact Club partnered with Krispy Kreme Donuts to raise funds to support Venezuela in their state of emergency, involving human rights problems and an unstable government. Our club managed to raise over $1000 to donate to this cause by selling Krispy Kreme donuts by the dozen. Members helped to deliver boxes of donuts to those who participated in buying them from our fundraiser.

Homeless Relief Drive
For this project, the interact club bought and donated hundreds of boxes and packages of non-perishable food to distribute to homeless people in the Bay Area during winter break. Food items included: Instant ramen noodles, apple sauce, cereal, etc.
